We're off to see the Ticos

We fly out to Costa Rica in the morning for a week! Should be great, though we're not entirely sure what to expect after the big earthquake - the tourist resources all say it's fine, but one of the places we're going to see is an active volcano not all that far from the epicenter. I don't know much about the geophysical interactions between tectonic plate shifts and volcanic core eruptions, but I do know our reservations are non-refundable so I guess that settles that.
