Santa Fife

Generally I prefer to remain curmudgeonly until at least December 15, but the Greensboro Festival of Lights was tonight downtown, so we put Fife in the Santa outfit we got for him for the AIDS walk on Sunday and let him make his seasonal debut.
Greensboro puts on a good Festival of Lights - we opened a very nice park downtown a couple of years ago where they have the big tree for lighting, and all up and down Elm Street there were different musical groups and carolers. Usually it only takes about 10 minutes to walk up and back that stretch, but with Fife in his Santa outfit and riding in his stroller/sleigh, it turned into a good 45 minute one-dog parade.
