Quality control

I certainly don't want to discourage our consumer product overlords from any inclination they may want to show towards quality control, but I have to admit I'm a little baffled as to why the socks I bought today came packaged in convenient-for-crackers-and-leftovers Zip-Lok(tm)-style bags.

I will admit, all of the socks were still fresh when I opened them.
