Things to see at the art museum

One of the exhibitions at the High Museum that we visited the other day was of photographs of "Street Life" in the 1960s and 1970s. One of the featured artists was Susan Meisalas, who took photographs of the women who worked as strippers in a traveling carnival and the people around them.

I'm not sure what it means, but it struck me noteworthy that in this photo of two wives who have clearly been badgered by their husbands into attending this strip show, the women have the exact same expression on their faces as Leslie did when I made her go see the canned vegetable sculpture show.
