Bark Park

It's been too cold to get and do much of anything, but it was pretty nice today so we took Tressie on her first trek to our local dog park. It was overflowing today but we usually go into "Field A", which is for "older/loner dogs" and which I generally think of as "The Loser Bin". It's pretty empty most of the time.

We go in there because Fergus must smell like a cat or soemthing, because he tends to get picked on when we take him in with the other dogs. Once he got smacked down so hard that he would hardly leave my legs the next several times we went, which kind of defeats the purpose of hauling them all the way to the dog park.

It was also good today because we were afraid Tressie, still be a little nervous, would be hard to get rounded back up if we were in the big field. But she did just fine, take a few lessons from Fife about how to spend all your time at the park sniffing along the fence line, and also investigating at some length the tempting aroma of a tiny pug puppy's butt, who was remarkably patient about it, I think.
