On Sunday nights we try to get a whole week's worth of grilling done. Two-and-a-half hours in, we've got two batches of chicken plug eggplant, red and yellow onions, eggplant, green and red bell peppers and asparagus done. Mushrooms and salmon still to come. Dinner should be around 9:30.

Finally, both ears clear! The dogs are annoying and the lawn mower intrusive once again.

The bad part of having two swimmer's ear infections at once - swimmer's head? - is the pain and not being able to hear anything. The good part is that our yapping shelties are currently much less annoying than usual, and I now have the quietest lawn mower in the neighborhood.

The two things that would make Leslie happiest to have are an RV and backyard chickens. The chickens are cheaper, so that was my birthday gift to her this year. I've got the chicken run framed up now. I'm not sure how much longer I can drag out the rest of the chicken-preparation process.

Busting up concrete with a 20 pound demolition hammer was fun for the first 15 minutes yesterday. The remaining 7 hours and 45 minutes less so.
